Trovi: Antique Identifier · Last updated July 5, 2026

Trovi ("we", "the app") helps you identify and estimate the value of antiques and vintage items from photos. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Photos you submit

When you photograph or select an item, that image is sent to our processing service and on to a third-party AI model (Google Gemini) solely to identify the item and estimate its value. Images are used only to generate your result. We do not use your photos to advertise to you, and we do not sell them.

Your collection

Items you save to "My Collection" — photos, identifications, estimated values, and your notes — are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or back up your collection to our servers.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Apple and RevenueCat handle payment and receipt data under their own privacy policies; we never receive your full payment details.

Data we do NOT collect

We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties

Children

Trovi is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
